"07/07/07" è il primo lavoro, il primo parto dei Faith Factor, band americana di classico heavy metal dalle forti tinte epiche che vanta fra le proprie fila il grandissimo Sky, cantante dei cult heroes Deadly Blessing, che negli anni '80 pubblicarono diverse Demo e l'album "Ascend From The Cauldron" di fiero metallo, seppur secolare. Ora il buon Sky, dopo la conversione ha deciso di creare questo nuovo capitolo della sua avventura musicale, dedito ad un favoloso epic power metal cristiano che di sicuro fa già gridare al miracolo e supera di gran lunga anche quel che era stato fatto dalla sua band di partenza.
Gli unici difetti di "Faith Factor" sono quelli di constare di soli tre brani (per tal motivo speriamo che ben presto Ski e il resto del gruppo si diano da fare per sfornare un vero e proprio full length) e di non avere dalla propria una produzione stellare, che magari avrebbe aiutato ancor di più queste bellissime song.
Veniamo al dunque andando ad analizare le tracce di questo DemoMCD.
Il DemoMCD inizia alla grandissima con 'Prayer Warriors', la classica cavalcata epic power che mette subito in gran spolvero la voce di Sky, autore di acuti eccelsi, ben piazzati su un riffing massiccio dei due chitarristi Chris e Jim. Il coro poi è qualcosa di fantastico, un vero e propro inno a Gesù.
Con 'The angel And The Butterfly' cambiamo direzione e ci troviamo di fronte ad una bellissima semi-ballad epica, che inizia con una parte molto melodica ed evocativa che ancora una volta sottolinea la molteplice abilità di Sky di saper interpretare diverse emozioni. Il pezzo diventa poi un memorabile cadenzatone melodico ed eroico in cui il coro, riuscitissimo, vi conquisterà sin dal primo ascolto.
'Deceiver', il brano conclusivo, si presenta come il classico pezzo di american power metal, con massice linee ritmiche e la voce di Sky molto forzata e possente. Qui emerge decisamente la linea ritmica di Joe (basso) e Dan (batteria) che innervano di notevole energia i riff di Jim e Chris. Nel finale della song memorabili sono i passaggi di batteria marziali sovrastati dalla chitarra e dagoli acuti di Ski ancora sopra le righe.
Anche dal punto di vista delle liriche i nostri sanno essere convincenti con messaggi che inneggiano i cristiani ad essere protagonisti, a combattere per la propria fede (in 'Prayer Warriors'); non mancano poi ovvi richiami biblici ed epici che rendono sempre più interessante e fremente qualsiasi amante di questo genere musicale.

"07/07/07" is the first creation by Faith Factory, American band of classic epic heavy metal to which belongs Sky, well know singer of the cult heroes Deadly Blessing, who in the ’80 published several demos and the “Ascend From The Cauldron” album, proud and immortal masterpiece.
Now Sky, after his conversion, decided to create this new chapter of his musical adventure, dealing with an epic christian power metal which is a really great album, like a little “miracle”, and managed to overreach what has done with his previous band.
The only imperfections are that there are only three songs in this album (because of this we hope in Sky’s full length album) and that it has a low level production, which could have helped to make those songs better!
Let’s analyze the tracks: the first song is 'Prayer Warriors', classical riding fast epic power song which highlights Sky’s voice, author of beautiful lyrics, well combined with hard guitar riffs played by the two guitarists Chris and Jim. The main choir is really fantastic, a great hymn to Jesus.
With the following 'The Angel And The Butterfly' the rhythm changes and we can listen to a wonderful epic semi-ballad, starting with a very melodic and suggestive intro which helps to show the skinless of the singer to perform different moods. The track becomes later a memorable mid-tempo melodic and heroic in which the great choir will endear you since the first listen.
'Deceiver', the last song, starts as a classic american power metal piece, with massive rhythmic patterns and Sky’s voice really strong. Here is remarkable the rhythmic pattern made by Joe (bass guitar) and Dan (drums) pumping energy in the guitar riffs. In the ending of the song we want to highlight the powerful drum passages overwhelmed by the guitar and by the high pitched voice.
As to lyrics, the main subjects are incitements to all christians to be protagonists, to fight for their faith (as in 'Prayer Warriors') joined with epical biblical recalls which make even more interesting this album to those who love this genre.
