"Farewell" è l’ultimo album dei Divinefire – e, come dice il titolo, sarà l’ultimo per un bel po’ di tempo. Christian Liljegren ha dichiarato che il motivo per cui ha deciso di fermarsi con l’attività di cantante per un po’ di tempo è quello di avere più tempo libero.
Quest’album combina da un lato un ottimo e potente metal condito da profondi growl e sembianza tipicamente black metal con un melodico e veloce power metal dall’altro, grazie alla magnifica voce pulita di Christian. Questa velocità musicale unita con le limpide timbriche dei testi cantati da Christian, fissano nella nostra mente un solo obiettivo: pregare il Signore!
L’album inizia con una song lenta e melodica, che gradualmente cresce in velocità e ritmo nella canzone 'Calling The World'. Il brano apre la strada a 'Unity', che suona oscura e tetra fin dall’inizio. I testi come "Unity, the stroke of unity / Unity / In the body of Christ" rivolgono all’ascoltatore il messaggio di resistere e combattere tutti per uno per la propria fede e di restare saldi in essa. Nella canzone successive, ad esempio in 'You Will Never Walk Alone', è spiegato come Cristo abbia dato loro le motivazioni per far ciò ed il testo recita: "I belong to you/ You never walk away/ Your heavenly kingdom/ We’re together as one/ There is no separation/ All grace to the son."
Il messaggio principale sembra essere che siamo più forti quando siamo uniti. L’album, che in definitiva contiene tutta una serie di grandi canzoni con importanti messaggi. Si chiude con la strumentale 'Farewell'. L’album invece si conclude con la frase "Dear Lord, we’re calling!" E così loro fanno.

"Farewell" is Divinefire’s latest album – and, what the title expresses, it will be the last one for some time. Christian Liljegren has mentioned he wants to be less busy, what is the reason he stops his vocal activities for some time.
This album gives us a great combination of the stronger metal on the one side, with deep grunts and black metal appearance, and melodic fast power metal on the other side, with the beautiful clean vocals of Christian. This fast music, in combination with the clearly christian lyrics, sets our mind on one thing: praise the Lord!
The album starts with slow, melodic music, gaining more speed and rithm during 'Calling The World'. It makes the path clear for 'Unity', which sounds dark and grim from the beginning. The lyrics, like "Unity, the stroke of unity / Unity / In the body of Christ" create a message of people who stand and fight as one for their faith, and stand strong in it. That Christ gives them reason for this, they explain in their next song, 'You Will Never Walk Away', with the lyrics: "I belong to you/ You never walk away/ Your heavenly kingdom/ We’re together as one/ There is no separation/ All grace to the son."
The main message seems to be that we’re strong when we are a unity. When we’ve all great songs which contain this theme, the album ends with 'Farewell', which is also instrumental. The album ends with the phrase "Dear Lord, we’re calling!"
And so they do.
