Gran bel pezzo anche ‘Angel Eyes’ rock grintoso e un bel ritornello: “Send a message in the sky / No more truth and no more lies / So we can see the world tonight / Through angel's eyes / Send a message through the rain / So we can feel the sun again / And see the world in black and white / Through angel's eyes...” .
Come puoi dare amore?
She's got Jesus on her shirt and / round her neck / There's a tattoo of an angel on her back / She's scuffed her knees but she's never said a prayer / She'll cross herself then finger through her hair / You're too lost in yourself / You're too stuck in your ways / You're too lost in yourself / You're too broken to break / And you'll rescue someone else to save yourself / You try to love, but you love what you can't help / And you call yourself just to hear your voice / But no one ever answers through the noise...” .
Bello il testo, con il ritornello che canta parole quasi d’amore : ” Where's your love, where's your love / Sold out, I'm a million miles from / Where I want to be, I'm stripped down / I wish I said a million miles ago / "Goodbye my January rose"...”.
Gran bel disco!

ENGLISH VERSION
This is the second work by Fono, an American alternative rock band who published its debut album “Goesaroundcomesaround” in 1999.
The know how to play this kind of rock, which is really popular at the moment, and it is played with the right aggressiveness by the band. Guitars sound really good, creating the fundaments for the voice of the singer who remembers, especially in the first song 'Dangerous', the singer Bono, while in other songs it assumes more original and unique connotations. Drums and bass, even if not in the front line, help to create a really special sound!
Eleven songs make “Too Broke To Break” a really unique album, power and with an high intensity, never boring or featureless.
Lyrics and musical arrangements shows often sad songs, gloomy melodies, reflecting singer’s voice, as in the opener 'Dangerous' which is the best example.
Another nice rock piece is 'Angel Eyes', great hard rock with a dainty refrain: “Send a message in the sky / No more truth and no more lies / So we can see the world tonight / Through angel's eyes / Send a message through the rain / So we can feel the sun again / And see the world in black and white / Through angel's eyes...” .
The question made by 'Still Love' is: can you give love to someone when you’ve just lost your heart, lost your soul; how can you give something that doesn’t belong to you, how can you give love?
The following two songs, thus being good songs, follow the mood of the album, so as the CD title-track 'Too Broken To Break': almost three minutes of powerful and catching rock saying: “She's got Jesus on her shirt and / round her neck / There's a tattoo of an angel on her back / She's scuffed her knees but she's never said a prayer / She'll cross herself then finger through her hair / You're too lost in yourself / You're too stuck in your ways / You're too lost in yourself / You're too broken to break / And you'll rescue someone else to save yourself / You try to love, but you love what you can't help / And you call yourself just to hear your voice / But no one ever answers through the noise...” .
The level of this work is kept high by the following four songs, even not being so brilliant in comparison to the above mentioned songs, which closes with 'January Rose' a pushing ballad, with soft but aggressive rhythms. A special mention for the song’s refrain which is like a love song: ”Where's your love, where's your love / Sold out, I'm a million miles from / Where I want to be, I'm stripped down / I wish I said a million miles ago / Goodbye my January rose"...”.
Fono made a great work, “Too Broken to break” is a really good album, suitable for those who like a more modern and alternative oriented rock.
After all a melancholy flavor is kept in listener’s mind, improving the value of the whole work, made more valuable thanks to the nice lyrics which mostly refers to the need for a way, for an helping hand to recover us after a fall.
Really great job!
