ITALIAN VERSION

"Rahamim" è la prima opera del combo polacco Rahamim, che propone impropriamente il MCD come un DemoMCD, quando invece si tratta di un elegante lavoro in versione digipack che non ha nulla da invidiare alle edizioni edite da label. Di conseguenza inseriamo senza indugi questo MCD fra le uscite ufficiali e sottolineaiamo la cura per la realizzazione grafica, con foto e paesaggi molto scuri e dark.
Il sound dei nostri è un rock soprattutto a tratti progressivo, senza dimenticare alcuni passaggi alternative.
Prima cosa da sottolineare sono le linee vocali di Aga, singer famminile che sa interpretare al meglio le suggestioni di chitarra di Krzysiek, ottimo inventore di riff diretti e di buona presa, sin dalla prima track 'Czerwony Deszcz'. Nello stesso brano non mancano passaggi di chitarra "liquida", mentre il basso di Krzysztof Wdick risulta in parte meno presente. Nonostante questo la linea ritmica non manca di stupire con un improviso quanto inaspettato cambio di ritmo sul finale, che porta sugli scudi sia il basso sia la batteria di Kacper Popek. Il secondo brano, 'Twoj Dar', è meno sparato e più introspettivo ed inizia con una bella parte di chitarra acustica accompagnato dalla dolce voce di Aga. Ben presto però si cambia ritmo e il brano esplode in un cadenzato ben sottolineato da un riffone di chitarra; ancora una volta la linea ritmica e le linee vocali di Aga, qui in forma strabiliante, sono i punti di forza del pezzo.
Tutte le track sono decisamente corte, non superano mai i quattro muniti, ma nonostante ciò riescono a proporre ottime soluzioni, spesso nient'affatto prevedibili; la perizia tecnica dei musicisti è quindi evidente e il lavoro non può essere inserito generalmente in un filone rock ma mantiene connotazioni progressive ben precise, come dimostra anche la successiva 'Talitha Kum', che propone continui e improvvisi cambi di tempo.
La fede cristiana dei nostri è ben evidente nel booklet del MCD ma purtroppo la mancanza di una traduzione dei testi non permette di evidenziare i messaggi salienti della missione evangelizzatrice del combo polacco.
In definitiva quindi il lavoro si presenta come un ottimo primo passo nel mondo della musica. Ora attendiamo un full-length.

“Rahamim” is the first work of the polish band Rahamim, that improperly proposes the MCD like a DemoMCD, despite it's an elegant work in digipack version that has nothing to envy in front of the other Label editions.
So we insert this MCD without delay among the officials come out and we underline the careful for the graphic realization, with pictures and environments very dark. The sound of the band is rock and sometimes progressive, without forgetting some alternative style passages.
The first thing to underline is the vowel lines of Aga, female singer that knows to interpret the suggestions of the Krzysiek's guitar , good inventor of direct riffs and good attitude, since the first track 'Czerwony Deszcz'. In the same track it doesn't miss the passages of “liquid” guitar, while the bass guitar of Krzysztof Wdick results apart less present. Despite this thing, the rhythmical line doesn't miss to impress with a sudden and unexpected change of rhythm in the final, which takes on the shields the bass guitar and drum of Kacper Popek. The second track, 'Twoj Dar', is less speed and more introspective and it starts with a good part of acoustic guitar accompanied by the sweet voice of Aga. But soon they change rhythm and the track explodes in a cadenced well underlined by a big riff of guitar; yet a time the rhythmical line and the vowel lines of Aga, here in superb manner, are the strong points of the track.
All the tracks are decidedly short, they never overtake four minutes, but despite this , they are able to propose great solutions, often not foreseeable at all; so the technician skill of the musicians is evident and the production cannot be inserted generally in a rock tradition but it maintains progressive style connotations well accurate, as the following track 'Talitha Kum' demonstrates, that shows continue and sudden changes of time. The Christian faith of the band is well evident in the MCD booklet but the missing of a translation of the lyrics doesn't allow to underline the important messages of the evangelic mission of the polish band.
So at the end the album is an optimum first step to the music world.
